Sad news! Sylvester Stallone’s 36 year son dead of Drug abuse

Sylvester’s son dies tragically of an overdose.

The one thing every African parent pray for is ‘ Not to mourn a child’, after all our children are meant to live long after us and carry on our legacy, building on our foundation and becoming bigger and better than we could. The good book says: Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.Psalm 127:3. Children are a true blessing from God.

Today as a parent I can only imagine what Stallone must be going through as a parent of a 36 year old first son, who died of drug abuse, still unmarried and no kids. Saddest thing that could ever happen to a parent. We remember that Sage was in Rocky V acting as his son.

Sylvester’s rep, Michelle Bega, tells us, “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever.”

A source close to Sage tells us, exclusively, “This comes a s complete shock! Sage was just at his agent’s office a couple of weeks ago and he seemed perfectly fine. Sage was a really good person. Everyone is just devastated.”

Sage was an actor, director, and producer. He appear in two of his dad’s films, Rocky V and Daylight. In 1996, he co-founded his own production company, Grindhouse Releasing.

He has one brother, Seargeoh Stallone. He also has three half-sister from his father’s third marriage to Jennifer Flavin: Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet Stallone.

I pray that the hand of the Lord will be over our children and that He will set a hedge of fire around them , so many of our children our dying at the hands of drug abuse.
