Good Parenting as we all know it is not an easy thing to achieve, in fact if you manage to raise a child in this day and age and he turns out to be a fine young man or woman then it is an achievement worthy of a Nobel prize!. I am no expert on parenting but I always admire those kids who against all adversity turn out to be an inspiration to their peers and their society.
The Irony of parenting though is that you can never tell how a child is going to turn out, they might have parents that give them all the love they need, material things, the best childhood any kid can dream of and still turn out to be a rapist. Then their is the child whose parents are alcoholics, drug addicts, marital abuse etc and still turn out to be a well rounded child, compassionate, loving and well the answer to people’s prayer.
So when I saw this picture of Snoop and his teenager son, doing what Snoop does best it make me squeamish!, father and son smoking or should I say son lighting up fathers bong!. I personally think it is wrong but then as he said, he isnt a hypocrite, and each child has to find his own path.
Every home has different rules on what they think good parenting is, all I say is that God should give us wisdom to train our children to be the light of the world, created for signs and wonders.
