As a relationship and spiritual coach, I am always saddened when I read about splits, divorce, separation and wonder if people truly understand what marriage means. Marriage is a merging of two separate spirits to become one. Where one is the head and the other is the body.
If the head is sick and the body is healthy, you cannot cut the head and throw it in the bin!, I remembered when I was a kid in Africa and my mum told me to kill a chicken to cook some stew, I cut the head off and let it go!. I had the fright of my life, the chicken got up and started running after me, i went left it went left, without a head. Can you imagine a headless chicken running after you and this was no joke!.
I have seen too many marriages cut off the head without seeking a specialist doctor to help heal and restore the head to the way it was. Sadly everyone is in a rush to get out of a ‘bad’ marriage to another better new one. Claiming there is no love, but what is the definition of love, for love endures, its patient, its forgiving, love is compassionate. Love isn’t selfish, its not temporal, its not a feeling, I don’t get that adrenalin rush so boom bye bye!. You are starring at a girl, you are holding his hand, you are too fat now or you snore so loud! . I don’t see anything wrong in getting ear plugs, or go for a nasal surgery. We now have quickie divorce!
Marriage is not a bed of roses, every successful marriage takes hard work.
J-Lo needs to stay Lo, seek some spiritual counselling, a relationship coach to unravel the real reason for a turning back from a 7 year marriage with Children. Beauty and money doesn’t bring joy, perhaps temporal happiness.
However understanding ones destiny and purpose in this universe is what will give us the deepest Joy.
